The 5th Bi-Annual Conference of The International Association for the Study of the Philosophy of Edith Stein (IASPES) - President: Prof. Antonio Calcagno, Ph.D., Professor of Philosophy, King's Univ. College at Western University, London, ON, Canada - will take place at the University of Cologne, Germany, August 15-17, 2019 under the title "Edith Stein's Itinerary: Phenomenology, Christian Philosophy, and Carmelite Spirituality". There will be 60 papers from speakers from contries all over the world in four languages (German, English, French, and Spanish) and two keynotes ("Öffentliche Abendvorträge"). Prof. Dr. phil. Dr. phil. h. c. Andreas Speer, University of Cologne, will speak in German about: "'perfectum opus rationis' - Edith Steins Thomaslektüren und die Möglichkeit einer christlichen Philosophie" (this presentation will take place in the Great Reading Hall of the Library of the Archdiocese and Cathedral of Cologne / Erzbischöfliche Diözesan- und Dombibliothek Köln, Kardinal-Frings-Str. 1-3, 50.
